Gentrye Houghton was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. She graduate from Oklahoma State University in 2007 with a bachelors degree in Journalism and Broadcasting, which ultimately brought her to the Crystal River Valley.
After founding and operating a rock climbing gym with her husband in their hometown, she took an editorial internship with Rock and Ice magazine in Carbondale during the fall of 2012. At the culmination of the internship, they decided not to return to Texas and instead moved to Redstone where their love for the outdoors soared. The couple sold the climbing gym in 2014 and embarked on a new adventure by moving into a little school bus and traveling around the West for a few years.
By 2017, Gentrye was again ready to make a change and decided to come home to Redstone. She graduated from Lotus Education Institute, in Glenwood Springs, with a 500-Hour Professional Massage Therapy Certificate during the summer of 2018 and obtained her license in the fall.
Gentrye is a lover of the outdoors, travel and adventure, all animals, and most of all, she is passionate about providing quality, healing touch to all of her clients.
